Corey Salka is an accomplished technology innovator with 25 years experience in Business Intelligence (BI) software consulting, software design, R&D leadership and partner development. Most recently, Corey held Partner-level roles at Microsoft. He was highly regarded for pioneering Microsoft`s BI business, a major pillar of SQL Server and Office product strategy with annual revenues exceeding $1 billion. Recruited by Microsoft in 1992, Corey drove the design of some of the major data analytics features for Microsoft Excel. Prior to his work at Microsoft, Corey was a Senior Consultant at Information Resources Inc. (IRI) where he built customized decision support systems for pharmaceutical companies & financial institutions, and led development of IRI`s first EIS product. Corey holds an MBA from Northeastern University and a BS degree from the University of California Santa Cruz.
